S62 - Adding a Shot Manually

I too have the same issue:  The manual says: "1. Press button 2. Select Last Shot > Add Shot.
3 Follow the on-screen instructions.  I've followed those procedures, but get vary different results many times... it's very confusing.  A step-by-step instruction with watch face illustrations, or as above 'a video', would be very helpful

Same issue, and then when it doesn't pick up the chip and I walk into the green, my previous approach shot ends up 10-15 metres longer, so it is playing with my distances....this is also coupled with it switching to green mode when I am sometimes anywhere within 10 metres of the fringe.....

Absolutely love the watch, and the amazing automation makes 75% of the round seemless, however this is a bother on every hole now because am.always checking whether it works or not, and should be focusing on closing out the hole.... just think a simple trigger like "ready to putt" or something similar where you just tap "yes/no" would fix the confusion and not add any bother to the user experience.

Every single other thing about the watch and its golf bits are unbelievable.

This is why they make you but the CT10 sensors, so you can measure your shot next to the green...

You know that's funny when you like your Approach S62 watch and just received your new Ping G425 golf clubs with the Arccos Smart Caddie grips on them. I don't suppose I can drill through the Arccos sensors to screw in those CT10 sensors  

Is this really the only way to replace the Arrcos with the CT10? I figured they'd just unscrew.
I have a brand new g425 Ping Driver and love the CT10s. No interest in changing eco-systems.

The CT sensors definitely help. Almost flawless. I’ve installed 6 of the sensors on my putter, wedges and nine iron. I’m thinking of adding all of them. In order for the watch to pick up the swing at times it must be a pretty hard swing, that’s why many times your PW or short irons don’t record unless you have the sensors. They’re still not flawless, heck don’t think anything is but they’ll really help you record individual club data if that’s what you want. When my garmin doesn’t pick up say my drive initially, I press the last shot, click on the check mark to begin recording the distance. Once I am at my ball I hit the bottom right button to return to the course view and get ready for the next shot. It records it correctly on the stats afterwards. Hope this helps.

I really wish that Garmin would add a one button short cut to add a shot. My watch seems to miss between 50% and 75% of the shots I take. It actually works really poorly for me. If they added a long press or an option for a long press of one of the physical side buttons of watch, it would make the shot tracking way for useful. Having to go through several steps to add a *** gets old really fast.
