Second Approach 62 Connect account question.

I purchased two Garmin Approach S62. One for myself and one for my wife. ? I have separate connect accounts on our iPhones but it appears much of the data is only available on the web connect. Do I need separate web connect accounts to synch scorecards and club performance?

  • Yes. It will be critical to keep each Approach S62 on their own Garmin account and separate across each of your smartphone APPS and in Garmin Express on your computer.

    Double check and ensure:

    - If using a smartphone with the Golf APP and Connect Mobile APP, Bluetooth pair each Approach S62 to your own individual smartphone and be certain to use your own personal Garmin account with the same email when you sign-in to each APP.

    - When using Garmin Express to update your worldwide courses and if you sync your scorecards through Garmin Express, when adding your Approach S62 into Garmin Express, when signing into Garmin Connect, ensure you are signing into your personal Garmin account using the same email you have used on your smartphone with the APPS.

As long as you keep each Approach S62 100% apart by having them consistently signed into your own Garmin accounts, you won't develop sync issues or frustrating scenarios where both of your scorecards and activities become mixed across both of your Connect accounts and in the Golf APP.

  • Good info but now I need help on removing my wife's Approach 62 from Web Connect.  I had both watches attached to my account on my PC.  In Web Connect I see no way to remove her watch. I was able to remove it from Garmin Express which I assume is the correct action.

    Please advise.

  • You will do the following to remove her watch off your Garmin Connect account:

    - Retire her Approach S62 on your account - Steps to Remove or Retire a Device from Garmin Connect Web

If you have updated her watch in Garmin Express signed into your Garmin Connect account:

    - Delete her device out of Garmin Express - Adding and Removing Devices in Garmin Express

To get her watch on her own Garmin Connect account now, you may need to make her a free email, if needed, then create a new Garmin account or use her existing Garmin account if she has one.

    - Add her Approach S62 into Garmin Express again but use her Garmin account with her email when signing into Garmin Connect.

If sharing the same computer, when she connects her watch to update courses or sync saved scorecards through Garmin Express, she will now be signed into her own account. When she wants to view her scorecards in Garmin Connect, through being within Garmin Express, she can select the Garmin Connect box and it will open her account automatically through your default web browser being used on your computer.
