I received a new S62 this week and used it for the first time yesterday on the golf course. The watch found the course without difficulty but after showing the first hole, it would not track my yardage. On the 4th hole, it seemed to start showing my yardage very briefly, but after that nothing. The watch did not automatically switch to the next hole and I had to do that manually. Very frustrating. Then I came home and found a whole stream of people describing the same problem, but that discussion is closed with the last comment from Garmin indicating that a software update fixed the bug and they are not seeing this problem any longer. I had updated my watch on Garmin Express before playing. I have SW 2.40, GPS 2.90, NA Course view 6.30.
I appreciate suggestions, or do I need to exchange this watch?
