Custom clubs missing in Garmin golf app (Was a known issue - Now Resolved)

Not sure what happened but all of a sudden my custom clubs are not showing up in the Garmin golf app. Played a handful of rounds this week and all was fine. Last played on Tuesday. Now today, Thursday when I played the watch had all the clubs but when I load the Garmin golf app none of my clubs show up on the course and when I go to club performance in the app it just shows the default clubs. 

  • Does anyone know if they know this is an issue besides this post?  Has anyone called?  It definitely sounds like an issue on their end not we arent up to date on updates.  Just not sure if they monitor this or we need to make more noise about it to get a fix

  • I missed all my custom club details and my virtual caddy not working great before my club gone missing. 140 yards yet the caddie will show 6i. My 6i distance is 160 yards. After my 9 hole and started new 9 hole, all my club distance gone missing.

    Thanks for alerting us.  Same for me.  Every round since June now has no club information.  I am sure they will sort this as it is one of the main reasons many of us will have bought the watch.  Hope to hear from Chris at Garmin soon that they're on it.

  • This is a known issue with the highest priority for our Golf engineers working on resolving the backend issue on our side.

    Hi Chris - Not to be pedantic but at what point is Garmin going to start acting like a mature company that notifies it's clients proactively about issues they cause either directly (this) or indirectly (your multi-day ransomware outage)? I know asking you all to actually validate your work before you commit it to production is probably a bridge too far but you've become the laughing stock of the tracker world at this point and Arccos is looking better and better.

    To be clear - I reported this yesterday to Garmin in both email and on this forum and yet the only information I have received about progress has come by my reporting the issue on Reddit and getting back-door insights from other Redditors.

    Same here, had a round today clubs were there to select after each shot as normal, just gone into Golf app and all my clubs have gone and club data is missing from my last 3 rounds. Will not be happy if data is lost.

  • Custom club data is back in club performance and all my rounds other than the last round on 9/24.

  • Back for me as well.  That's encouraging it was a quick turn around to fix it.  I'm good if for whatever reason 9/24 doesn't work I can manually tag them as needed but it's great historical is back.
