Can you use the s62 for ambrose competitions

I have just got my new s62 watch and my first use of it on the course will be a ambrose game. Can it be used for this format or will the constant changes in ball position affect the stats.

Your Approach S62 would not be practical for the ambrose scramble style of play.

Your AutoShot distance reflects you hitting your own ball and walking to your ball. You would have to always the one hitting the ball and then walk to that ball to have meaningful data that is your own.

Thanks for that Chris, just keen to test it out. Is there a way i can just use it then as a distance tool instead of keeping score

If you start the round of golf, you can use the information provided for each fairway and green. Depending on the scenario, you may find it useful to Measure Distance and input hole score for the team. When done, you can discard the round of golf since only using your watch for the metrics provided by GPS.
