Distance in S62 does not change in the course

I played my first round w/s62 and does not show the real distance to the hole. I move on the course but the distance who appears in the watch is always the tee-to-green distance. So the distance does not change. How can I fix it??

I had the same issue today with a new watch. Anyone that can help???

I had this with mine. You will need to load Garmin Express on a computer, then connect your watch to the computer and upgrade your watch SW. it will update the OS and GPS software. After I did this, my watch worked as advertised.

Trying this now, will be amazing if this works but annoying as the watch otherwise tells me all the software is up to date. Makes for a disappointing first round with the new watch.

Yes, I agree 100%, I thought I had a faulty watch. Note, I remember having to reset my watch one or twice. I actually went to the local golf course, just to test the watch after I loaded the SW. I remember it not working on first try. Then rebooted watch and has been working very well since. I have played 5 or 6 rounds with it.

Did you get your watch to work yet? I'm having the same issue with a new S62. Frustrating!!

Yes for mine, connected to computer Garmin app at home (and turned watch off / on) and worked fine the next time out.

The user in the thread above is referring to "SW" as (Software)
