Garmin S62 Music Controls

I just finished connecting my device to my Android smartphone. The S62 is connected via bluetooth to my phone, however when I play music from Spotify on my phone, the music control widget doesn't show what I'm playing. Is there an additional step I need to do in order to use this function on my S62? TIA.

It will not be an option to control using the Spotify APP on your smartphone. Long story short, with how Spotify works, you need a Spotify APP on your watch and your Playlist songs downloaded to your watch…

It will not be an option to control using the Spotify APP on your smartphone. Long story short, with how Spotify works, you need a Spotify APP on your watch and your Playlist songs downloaded to your watch memory to have control of the music. Since there is no onboard music on the Approach S62, it will not be possible to add the functionality.
