My approach s62 will not show both call and message notifications at the same time even with all notifications selected..

Hi , my Garmin approach s62 will not show call and message notifications . In smart notifications setting it has , show all, show calls only or show calls and texts. The problem is it will not show all, it is either calls or texts only. Every combination of setting tried.

Any help much appreciated

I was having the same issue with having followed all the recommend steps to get notifications and didn’t work.

The S62 manual is a bit weak when it says: “go to IOS notifications settings to select items to show on the device” (a bit useless). Then after spending time in a call w Garmin support they helped me figure it out.

Assuming you’re an iPhone user, go to Settings>Show notifications>Always. I had mine set at NEVER.

For Android users, you need to go to Settings>Smart Notifications.

The minute I made the change, notifications started flooding in:)

Love this feature, especially in the days of Zoom. Don’t have to pull out my phone in the middle of calls, just have to look at my watch. Same when golfing...no need to pull out my phone every few mins. Just look at my watch and all messages are right there.

So i have started to have this issue as well except mine are not consistent sometimes i will get them sometimes i won't.

would my problem be running both the Garmin Connect & Garmin Golf app would they interfere with each other???

The apps don’t interfere with each other. Sometimes my watch doesn’t display notifications and the fix for me has always been to reboot my phone. My issue has always been a Bluetooth one from phone to watch.
