Post from over two years ago that user's here in forums have been using to express recent concerns with Plays Like Distance on the Approach S60 has been closed, and this post has been created for any current discussions so information is relevant for the current maps and software versions the Approach S60 now uses.

    Hello,

    Following the latest update on my S60 watch, I no longer have access to the "Play Like" feature. When I click on distances, my watch makes the distance arc of my drive appear and disappear. The up/down and square arrows no longer appear. I should point out that I don't use the tournament feature, which disables the "Play Like" mode.

    Same for me. I also do not have the hole layout on the main screen just the driver distance arc the appears and disappears when you touch the distances. I have tournament mode and big numbers disabled.

    I have the same issue with an update last week. the drive arc toggles but it has no base map underneath it. Also no playlike numbers when the drive arc comes up.

    Same here with last weeks update.  Tournament mode is off, courses are up to date, and when you tap the screen it makes the driver distance line appear and disappear, it does not adjust the yardage.  I've also done a soft reset, and am about to to a hard reset even though by all accounts that doesn't work.

    Update as of April 23, 2025: 

    Garmin is in the process of reviewing recent reports for concerns with PlaysLike Distance no longer working after update course maps. 

    Those experiencing the concern, please continue to post here and I will get your account added to the ticket in process through our quality & engineering team. 

    Once more information towards a solution is available, I will communicate here in forums and Garmin will also email those added to the ticket.

    I also had the Playslike Distance issue after updating my S60 with Version 8.9. Initially I also counld not turn on the Big Numbers feature but after resetting my watch , that feature returned. The Playslike feature still does not work.

    My plays like distances isn't working and I've checked all the settings are as they should be.

    I am also having the same issue. Elevation symbols no longer show on the yardages. (EG. no triangles or squares adjacent to the number). Also tapping the yardages no longer displays the "Plays Like" distance, instead when you tap the yardages on the left side of the display it will toggle displaying the driver arc on the right side hole map.
