Hold the middle button on the side of the watch until the display goes completely blank (takes about 10-15 seconds of holding) then release the button.
Then connect the watch to USB port on a home computer. You should see the watch go into USB mode locking the charging screen. See how the watch charges from a computer USB source going forward.
*If the watch is still having the issue of powering off and not back on after disconnecting from the charging source...I recommend contacting Garmin Support to speak with a Golf Specialist discuss further available solutions.
