Same problem. No help from Garmin (as usual).
Verify that your Windows or Mac runs the latest version of its operating software. If an update is available, update first. Update Garmin Express to its latest version. If you didn't safely eject your Garmin device previously, restart your computer
Have done everything in comments, have tried multiple cables, multiple computers including one that connects to another S60 without problems. Created a support case att Garmin and will see what hapens.
