Swing Tempo Not Registering

Brand new Approach S62 purchased last week. Hitting golf balls in my back yard into a driving net. I am a righty golfer with my watch on my right hand. Tempo stays consistently at 0.0. Factory reset did not fix the issue. Please help.

Hello, Swing Tempo requires that you hit a regulation golf ball. We also suggest wearing the watch on your lead wrist for better impact detection.

If you have verified the above and the issue persists, make sure the software on the watch is up to date and see if that resolves the issue.
