Strange Approach CT10 issue with Driver

I have the strangest issue with the CT10.

All sensors added and working well (1 month old).

The sensor on my Driver abruptly stopped working. Could be re-added, re-assigned.

I got the sensor from my 6 Iron and re-assigned it to my driver successfully.

After one or two drives the next time I played, the driver sensor stopped working again.

The clubs live in the bag (sensor down), are brand new (I had a replacement sent by Garmin) and nothing seems to work.

When I tried to re-assign the driver sensor back to the 6 iron, it wouldn't work. It's like the driver completely kills the sensor?

I know how ridiculous this sounds however to have the same thing happen twice in a week is very strange.

Would love some ideas.

    I have exactly the same issue!!! Can not be coincidence…

    I bought fresh batteries and that resolved it in the end. Strange that both the original set and then the one additional one sent by Garmin both had near dead batteries.

    Thanks Ben! But indeed I don’t get it.. I changed the sensor from my 4 iron to my driver ( coz I don’t use my 4 iron ) and now same issue :-s

    Same issue here!! All sensors die on my. Driver!

    So strange. There was definitely something going on with the sensor that kept being put on the driver (like the driver killed it).

    • All is ok now for whatever reason. The only thing I could deduce was the fresh battery. Why knows?!

    ANY SOLUTIONS FROM GARMIN PLEASEEE??!!! still not working! even after replacing the battery for 3 times!

    Hello, this thread is the first I've seen of the issue, and I've kept an eye on it for some time waiting for more reports. Since there are a few, I'd like to gather more information so that we can investigate the issue on our end.

    I exactly am encountering the same issue, but not only with the driver but also with my 3W 3H an 4H...and i found out why this happens.
    I putted fresh batteries in all of the clubs....after 18 holes, the driver as well as 3W and 4H stopped working. There is only one thing they have in paralell: The problem is that these 4 clubs are touching the bottom of the bag and i suppose that you guys all use a trolleys like me, which than transfers vibrations to the sensors while driving arround. I also tried switching the sensors from ironclubs to Driver, Wood and Hybrids...but the result was always the same...after 18 holes the batteries were empty!
    And this is how i try to fix it now: I ordered some foam, which i cut in small cubes. One layer of arround 5 cm i putted on the bottom, the cubes above. Now i try to fix the clubs between the cubes, trying to absorb as much vibrations than possible. I had not yet the chance to try it out, but i will give you a feedback :-) Maybe buying clips, to fix the clubs may also help!

    Advice to garmin: Can you please consider for the next sensors you bring out, sort of a button you have to push to activate it, when taking the clubs out of the bag? This would help a lot, does not coast ay time and will fix the issue (auto-shutdown after one minute if button is not pressed again after swing) I'm owning the sensors not yet a month now, but i already have 20!! empty batteries lying here.

    Well, my feedback is quick:

    Issue solved. While eliminating as much vibrations as possible (foam at the bottom of the bag and 3d-printed rubbers for the grips) the batteries are no more empty after a few holes. I could play 18 holes yesterday without any problem. I hope this will help some of you.
