Perform a reset on the device to see if that resolves the rebooting issue. Sync your data to your app prior to performing the below steps.
Press MENU button > Settings > System > Restore Defaults > Yes

The reset occurs during the hits. Apparently the watch gets a reset signal by some loose connection?
Another notice: The back "coin" dropped off a week ago. There is the serial number engraved. Can this have any effect on resetting? Can it be glued back?
It should not have any effect on resetting the device. If desired, you can glue it back on, yes.
