Power level does not decrease

Bought my S60 last year and suddenly this week for some reason the power level does not decrease when using it as a watch. It goes down to 93-94% and stays there. This happened a couple of days ago. Today I went golfing after charging it to 100% and it shut down at hole 16 due to critically low battery level. I used to finish a game with 45-50% power left.

Anyone know if there's a fix I can do? Thanks in advance.

  • We would suggest updating the watch with Garmin Express to see if software updates resolve this sudden battery drain issue.

If you are still having this problem or the watch is up to date, please reach out to Golf Product Support. We would be happy to assist you further.

  • Thanks. I did recently do an upgrade to 7.50 and I connected just yesterday too. Am testing the watch today; I charged to 100% last night and it dropped 7% in the 7 hours I've been wearing it so looks normal so far. Tomorrow I will be playing another round of golf and test the app to see how much it drops. I did uninstall an app that uses GPS and displays the altitude. Its the only new app I installed recently and figured maybe it was working in the background searching for satellites.

If the problem persists I will reach out...thanks again.
