Corrupt File prevents syncing

I'm not sure of the file structure, but it appears that this corrected file is now strictly a 'running' file, not a golf-round FIT file, as CONNECT only recognizes it as a 'running file'. It doesn't issue sync error, but does not show up as a golf round.

I'll ask the developer of FIT File Repair Tool if there is a workaround or a planned update to the software that will allow repairing golf rounds.

I don't own a watch that tracks golf rounds, so I'm not sure how this should look, but under the FIT File Repair tool there is an option to save as "golf," which I have done. At first glance, this looks like it is the same as changing the activity type from running to golf within Garmin Connect Web.

Nonetheless, here's the newly repaired FIT file - 1031.2021-01-11-10-51-36-fixed.zip If still no joy, let me know and I'll engage the developer of FIT File Repair Tool.

Same results .. I guess there are some other files associated with the golf FIT file or something to show round details, not sure.

Where are you viewing the round details? In the Garmin Golf App?

you can view the rounds in the golf app and CONNECT only after syncing

Got it. I don't have a device that can be used with the golf app, so I can only guess whether or not it works.
