Approach S60. Auto shot stopped working as did hole layout display following software update to 7.40

Auto shot stopped working and hole layout no longer shown following update to 7.40. Reported in October and was immediately given a software fix 7.41 which did not solve the problem. Keep following up and staggered that Garmin cannot give any indications as to when problem will be resolved. Asked if I could roll back to previously working software but told this was not possible. This really is not an acceptable state of affairs.

  • I am sorry you are having an issue with your Approach S60. The software update was in July. If you haven't already, please reach back out again to your regional Garmin Golf Product Support and request to have your watch replaced. It was not the software update but a coincidence in timing.

    We have not had any pattern nor the thousands of reports that would come in worldwide when a fully released software update breaks such a critical feature.
