Penalty Strokes on Score card

Agree 100%. We enter the penalty strokes for each hole just like putts so Garmin should display the penalty similarly to putts and GIR. Please add. Simple software feature to add to round summary. 

So doesn’t seem like any software update will be coming..Garmin believes they are good as is. 

This app could be so much better, I really don’t think they have made any additions or fixes in 4 years. I wish software was open sourced so I could write my own code and fix all the current issues

No Garmin doesn’t do anything we request.  I think this software team never played golf or used their products ever and are just a bunch of CS geeks coding.  Sad

Just to point out how inconsistent it is between their devices, the G80 and G30 can't even add penalty shots. So devices with bigger displays than the watches are missing this. Its really sad that such great hardware is hindered by lack of software functionaltiy.

It is possible to obtain information about your penalty strokes by requesting a personal data export from Garmin. This can be done by visiting the following website: https://www.garmin.com/nb-NO/account/datamanagement/exportdata/

From there, navigate to folder DI_CONNECT, then to DI-GOLF, and finally to Golf-SCORECARD. By leveraging suitable Excel skills, you can gain an overview of all your penalty strokes.

However, it is worth noting that this method is unnecessarily complicated. Garmin should prioritize adding this feature directly to their user interface, allowing users to easily and efficiently retrieve this information without having to go through such cumbersome processes.
