Shot detection suddenly stopped working?

Bought by S60 in May - Worked perfectly out of the box until 2 weeks ago.

Since then the shot detection has completely stopped working. It will detect maybe 5-10 shots the entire round but nothing else (shot do not show up in App) - And is completely random is what shot it will "react" to and track, drives, chips etc... This issue was also accompanied by other issues like the watch not giving me the option to see the distance in relation to elevation anymore, and the flag compass feature not working. Moreover, it has generally been acting incredibly glitchy with random crashes, restarts and battery draining extremely fast for no reason.

Hard resetting it fixed the distance and compass issues however the watch still refuses to track the shots. Which is incredibly annoying considering it worked perfectly before. Is this a software issue or am I better off just returning it?
