Another unable to connect Garmin S60 to Garmin Express \ Laptop anymore.

Hi, 

When trying to connect my Garmin S60 to Garmin Express it no longer finds the device and as such i cannot update or change the watch. When i connect i get the audible connection but the device is never found and i cant see it in the connected devices to view files etc. However it does show as connected in connected devices under Bluetooth & other devices

I am using Windows 10 devices & i have tried this on 2 separate laptops & with 2 Different leads and doesn't work on either.

Issues started about 2\3 weeks ago when the watch kept coming up "cannot unlock maps"(Known error i see from Google) but i ignored this error and the watch still worked ok on courses etc. then about two weeks ago i couldn't connect the device for anything other than charging ? 

Please can you help assist with getting this fixed.

  • If any Garmin product is not being seen by Garmin Express, the next question is always whether or not the computer properly reads it plugged into the USB port. The best way to determine the potential issue is to try more than one computer, which you have done. At that point, it is clearly an issue with the watch not properly going into mass storage for the computer to see it.

    The issue can sometimes be resolved by fully restoring defaults on the watch. If the issue continues after the reset, it will need to be exchanged with your regional Golf Product Support.
