Approach S60 Blank Screen

My Garmin has just gone blank - at first I thought it had crashed. But it is still vibrating when i received txt messages etc. But nothing is displaying. 
I have tried restarting it (holding down for 30sec), but nothing happens on the display. But I feel the vibration as it restarts.

Is there something I can do to get the display working again?

  • I am having the same issue. Watch is now useless. I have the CT10 full set as well and don’t really want to be paying out for a new watch when so many people seem to be having the same issue. 

    any tips on resolving it yet? 

  • Also should have mentioned that putting it on Garmin Express it runs the updates and says all is working fine. 

  • I have also just checked and it is now not pairing with the Bluetooth on my phone.

  • I am sorry your display is no longer functioning. Given the sheer number of Approach S60 watches in use worldwide, we have not had a pattern of customer's displays no longer functioning after the most recent July 15th, 2020 updates that were released.

    If you still can, even though you cannot see the display, try updating your watch using Garmin Express on your computer.

    If you still cannot see your display, please reach out to your regions Garmin Golf Product Support and we will gladly assist further. Please select the country you are living in, on the bottom left hand corner, then go back to Support > Support Center > and input your Approach S60 > to then see your country's Product Support information.

    Did any of your Approach S60 devices remain with a 100% non-functioning display that was blank and it never worked again? If so, did you reach out to your regional Garmin Golf Product Support to have your device exchanged?

    I have been watching this thread and across Garmin for any other customer reports worldwide and there have not been any other than your 4 reports in this thread only.

  • I can't speak for anyone else, but my device is back working again.  It was powered off, then randomly turned itself back on and was working properly again.  Don't know how or why, but it is back to its former glory.

    Yes mine has done exactly that. I have a game tomorrow and an unusable S60

    Mine stays with the triangle on the screen. Its just  come back on after re connecting with my Mac ! I ejected it properly last time - I have to say a messy and unclear process to resolve the issues from the July outage by the sounds of things
