New Garmin S60 - adding a course

I have downloaded a course onto the app that I am due to play. The course isn’t local to me. I have synced my watch and phone but the course is not appearing on the list. The only courses appearing at the top ten local courses that appear on the app (I haven’t downloaded these)

Is this normal? Will it appear when I actually go to the course?

I have just upgraded to an S62 and my course (6 miles away) isnt showing when I am at home. I am going to dive to the course shortly and see if it pops up. Maybe it is only the very local to your current position ones that will show up.

I downloaded the full set (european) when i synched up in Garmin express

Just been to my course and it appears when I am on the car park. hope Edinburgh_loon works ok

You have to be near to the location of your course when you press Golf on the S60. Then the S60 begins to search for the nearest 10 courses ...

At the first time it takes a lot of minutes for the S60 to find the satellites, you can see it on the S60 when the red border is closed.

A list of courses that I found for the garmin didn’t have the one I’m playing on. However it was on the app which is why I downloaded it too the app. Do you think the s60 will find this course?

Don't know. I can see 2 Edinburgh courses UK and 2 Edinburgh USA courses in my Andriod app. I don't know but reckon they would have to be in the App to be known about by Garmin.
