Approach S60 keeps rebooting and losing steps and activity

I've had a replacement approach S60 watch sent to me from Garmin (this was because my first S60 was sent back to Garmin for repair within warranty so they have sent me a "reconditioned" one) but since setting up this watch, it keeps rebooting, sometimes it will do it when I'm scrolling through the widgets, other times it will reboot just whenever.

I've tried doing a hard reset and also tried restoring the factory settings but it is still happening. When it reboots, it loses any recently saved activity or steps.

Does anyone know if this could be a software issue or if the device itself is faulty?
