Garmin S60 - lot of trouble with SW Upgradede, even worse that i can not Connect my S3 anymore at all

After 90 minutes of work i was finally able to upgrade my S60 to the latest SW version and maps.

Latest version of GE and probably backend servers made lot of trouble connecting with both PC and Mac.

Any idea what I can not with the S3? (Looks like the S3 forum does not exist or was closed.)

Thx - I tried and i had the same problem for 2 different watches.

Unfortunately the S3 forum was dropped when the whole forum moved to a new platform. Only devices released after 2014 were added. Charging vs data syncing can be different, so could still be the cable, and/or the port on your computer.

It finally worked after 2 hours :-) Looks like something is wrong with the backend.

I am looking for more reliable technology now.

Great! One thing to try is to clean the contact points on the charging clip and watch by rubbing it with a pencil eraser.

Thx - see my comment below. As a SW engineer I work with pc and mc basically 7/24. It is noth the Macs or PCs i used.
