The option to manually edit and change average or max distance for clubs is currently not offered by design, and the inability to make an edit to those distances instantly is not an issue with our products…
In the past two years, Garmin has made many improvements and updates to the software and features on the Approach S60. The Approach S60 was first released back in 2016, and in the past two years Garmin…
The Approach G80 offers the ability to measure and assign the club to shots:
Currently this option only available using the AutoShot and Club Prompt features that record GPS distances to the scorecard during rounds of golf.
If there are any recorded shots contributing to outlier…
Garmin is always working to innovate features for products...so there is always the possibility of new features, and improvements to the methods of managing or recording your golf data.
The club distance…
Totally agree with you. At least show which course that MAX is recorded. This is a pretty simple feature that can be done in few days for one Software engineer.
I feel like Garmin did not put much attention…
Thanks for the message, but it’s not giving any confidence to the users that it’s being taken seriously. I’m not sure what your app developers are working on, but there’s not a huge amount changing or…
Please add my name to the list but it would be much better for the Garmin users to understand when this issue will be fixed. In my opinion it could be fixed within a couple of weeks. I can’t believe that Garmin ignores this requirement from their users.
I would like to receive an answer from a Garmin customer support manager/director.
Can you add me to the list please Rob. I agree with what is being said here. It would be easier to look at each club individually and see what distances are being used in the calculation and be able to remove any suspicious distances. Could take an age going through every shot on every round looking for them
I can fully agree what was written before. It should be fixed finally now. I took the task and went through all my scorecards and removed incorrect shots, but it did not remove the incorrect max club distance. It seems to be burned in!
Could we also have a ‘season’ setting for club distances ie in Summer the ball rolls much further after landing, but in wetter periods the ball stops on landing. Makes a big difference to irons when approaching greeens.

Hi Rob, I would love this feature to be added! Please add me to the ticket!
Hi, please can Garmin update their community with a response.
I was looking at the Arccos sensors and their app, and it turns out that this function is available, plus there is a function that automatically ignores rouge shots, so never impacts the overall data.
such an easy option to add to the app, a function to be able to edit the data table that produces the average and max distances. Simple but essential upgrade.
I 100% agree Jazzfm28. The Garmin golf functionality is already good so why not make it great!
yea, we've quit posting....a lot of the garmin owners have moved on....i'm also looking for something else, something that has better customer support and a company that listens to the needs.
This problem is so old and it seems Garmin is not willing to fix it. Would be nice to get a Garmin comment once. At least the bug that distances are like burned-in and don’t disappear even you delete the golf round.
