Approach S60 Resetting itself

I also use the S60 for counting steps but it constantly resets itself losing all the steps achieved.  I have called the Garmin Support team twice about this and after running through some suggested fixes it is still the same.  On my second call they suggested this was being addressed and a software fix would be issued.  Can you tell me if this has been done, if not when?  In the meantime, I have reverted to my Garmin Vivoactive that does not have the same issues.
