Last week I was surprised to see battery low (5%) on my watch before going to play a course.
I had to disconnect and reconnect the cable to the watch to see charging mode.
The charge pins seems to be cleaned often !
What do you think of that point ?
If it happens to my S60 I do a restart and that helps. Otherwise the battery in your S60 may be defect ...
My S-60 failed to charge with the Garmin cable. Almost sold it. But I didn't, instead I bought a cable online with a small disk. It was only about 12 euros. Problem solved, and it charges in a quarter…
The brand is Inercella.

Yes, clean the charging pins often - I've used a Q-tip and alcohol or a toothpick and that works. If it doesn't work (and Garmin probably won't like this suggestion) I've used a VERY TINY piece of sandpaper to scratch (very lightly) over the connectors both on the watch and the cable and this has also worked like a charm when the alcohol didn't work. Again, all you need is a VERY LIGHT pass over both connectors.

But a search for 'loading cable s60' will also do the trick, I guess.
Cheers
