APAC model in U.S.?

I purchased my Approach S60 from an ebay retailer. I had issues with Garmin Connect that I've posted about automatically measuring my shots while I'm playing (which Garmin CS helped me figure out). Yesterday I played and afterward I went in to Garmin Connect to Edit/Add shots. The functionality was very wonky. I needed to modify some shots on the 18th hole and Connect just didn't work. The Windows "wheel" icon spun for close to an hour before I decided to shut down. Tried again, and same result. I cannot make any changes to the 18th hole. Plus, scores and stats for all but 4 holes disappeared in Connect. Maddening. Today, I chatted online with Gary from Garmin CS and he noted that my Approach S60 is an APAC model, and believes that explains why Connect isn't happy. I'm not a software or IT expert so I have no idea. Sounds feasible.

Therefore, I wanted to ask for other opinions. Given the above info, is it possible that Garmin Connect is acting up because I live in the US and have an APAC model Approach S60? Thanks in advance!
