Can someone explain why some score/points are calculated incorrectly on scorecard (stableford)?

I went 18 holes. According to the slope I should have 17 extra strokes from par. This is correctly reflected and positioned on the scorecard but the points allocated for three of the holes are incorrect. See picture of

Hole 6. I have one extra stroke plus par = 5 shots to make par. I did 5 strokes which by stableford should give me 2 points. The app gave me 3 points.

Same for hole 12 and hole 15. All other holes calculated correctly.

Furthermore, I cannot find any way to edit the score. I can only edit/change club used, add or remove strokes. But in this case I cannot add strokes since I made exactly that number of strokes for hole 6, 12 and 15, it is just the points awarded that are incorrect. All in all I should have been awarded 34 points for the round, but with these three errors I got 37 points.

Can someone shed some light on this topic?

Jeg tror at de har givet nogle af hullerne forkerte indexnumrer. Jeg har samme problem med Golfklubben Storstrømmen.

Hi, why would index affect the points allocated. If I have 1 extra stroke on a par five hole and make a score of six, I should be awarded 2 points, but I get three .

Please explain more. Thanks

Sorry, you are correct, try to contact garmin in the live chat, otherwise i don't think you will get a answer from garmin.

Same question here. I have purchased the S60 quite recently and have exactly the same issue. Have a look at the stableford calculation on hole 3 below... that should be 2 points instead of 3.

It appears to me that the scores are always better than they should be, so up until now my workaround is to lower my local handicap in the watch settings to get a correct calculation. It is however always a matter of trial-and-error which always needs to be modified after each handicap change. So I would warmly welcome a fundamental solution from the Garmin techies.

In another post about this topic (https://forums.garmin.com/outdoor-recreation/golf/f/approach-s60/149866/stableford-still-not-working), someone suggests that the problem would be related to a difference in calculation between the US and Europe, because the CR is not used in the US calculation.

However, I only use the 'local handicap' setting, which should counter that difference anyway.

Is the total deviation always the same on a 9 holes and 18 holes round, and are the miscalculations always on the same holes for the same course?

It seems that the scorecard in the web version of garmin connect has some bugs.

The watch itself and the App seem to calculate stableford correctly.

I have just received an update from Garmin Support that their engineers are still working on a solution.

Well, my watch surely does not calculate the stableford correctly. The Garmin Connect web app appears to just copy whatever (faulty) data it receives.
