Golf app tournament

After you setup a tournament in the golf app how do you get to add the scores through the s60. Do you have to enter through the app and not the watch...
  • Yes I am confused by this also. I have the FR 935 and I don't know how the App and the watch interact during the round
  • Compatible Garmin device* users will use Garmin Connect Mobile or Garmin Express to send their scorecards from those locations to the app in order to be added to that course’s weekly leaderboard.

Non-Garmin device users can hand type in their score at each hole during a round on their course.

Once you upload your scorecard or hand type in your score during your round, your score will be posted to the Leaderboard for that golf course. You will be able to see where you rank compared to everyone else for the week.

The weekly leaderboards are live for all with the Garmin Golf app to see. If you do not want your scorecard to be on the weekly live leaderboard view our related content on changing the privacy settings for your scorecards.

Each course leaderboard resets weekly. The leaderboards run from Monday to Sunday each week.

*The Garmin Approach S1, G3 and G5 will not upload course information to the course leaderboards. If a player is using these devices, it is recommended they use the Garmin Golf app as a standalone product and input their scorecard information manually.
  • So just to be clear, the Garmin Golf app does not allow you to see distance to points on the app during a round, and nor does it sync during a round to a compatitple watch that is auto-detecting shots? (I have FR935 that I use for golf).
  • You can not sync mid-round with the Forerunner 935. You would need a device with the live scoring feature; like the Approach S60 or Approach G80.
  • Ah now I get it. Thanks.
