I'm not sure if this is a version 6 issue or not, but on my S60 the pin pointer stays greyed out so that I'm unable to select it. My compass works fine with compass widgets. I wouldn't have noticed, but I'm out of town for a week and could really use it on these unfamiliar course. Has anyone else seen this issue?
