Is it normal for the backlight to timeout while dragging the yardage marker or pin? Anyway to fix this without increasing timeout?

maybe the watch is light sensitive & 'senses' the backlight is not required? Are you using the watch in the dark? Do you need extra light? You say 'fix' but is it broken or do you just wish to change to time the light stay on?

What do you set your backlight settings to? Mine is set to 5 seconds. If i am using the buttons or tapping something on the screen the backlight stays on. If I keep my finger on the screen to drag the pin or yardage marker around the baclight turns off after the 5 seconds. I just thought it was odd?
  • You do not have to drag the pin to a new position ;)
Just tap on the green to the new pin placement and you're good.

Lol thats true. It was more of a question confirming that the backlight is supposed to turn off in this condition. Just seems odd that the backlight turns off when the screen is still in use with the finger moving the marker around? I assumed the backlight delay setting would only start when the screen is not in use (ie not pressing buttons, tapping the screen or dragging finger on screen).

    I can confirm this behavior.
