Battery very low - after update ...

Hi,

yesterday I could update my S60 to firmware 4.1, no problem. Before I go to sleep I switch of my S60.
This morning after switching the S60 on, I got the message "Battery very low", but it was 97% loaded. I connected the S60 to the loader, waited till 100% was reached and made a reset, but again the message was shown: "Battery very low". I think, this is an error in the firmware ...

Any progress with this issue? Is Tec Support able to reproduce this error?

I think this problem can be solved very easily ;)
Go back to a standard watch face! I had Aquatic free and that caused the "problem". When i use a preinstalled watch face - no problems.

Any watch face from the iq shop will cause this stupid message. I remember that fw 4.0 showed the correct message. Funnily both messages have consecutive index numbers in the laguage files.

yeah, after market faces are notorious for chewing battery life. Must be something the developers are unaware of to stop happening in their design process.

The battery life is not affected. It's only this silly message. You can try this: set the device to a language other than english and use a watch face from the iq shop. Tadaa.
When you go back to english and/or uninstall the watch face, you are back to normal.

This issue has been fixed with the 4.20 software update. This software version can be downloaded through Garmin Connect Mobile or Garmin Express.
