Plays like distance wrong?

Multiple times, plays like distance seems to be incorrect. Yardage would just reflect current distance. 

Does it take into consideration more factors outside of elevation? At times I know hole is uphill and confirmed by rangefinder with slope, but the watch tells me otherwise.  I have the premium subscription.

    You would need to ensure the correct hole is displayed and also tap on the 3 distances displayed to confirm the playslike distance feature is actively displayed as tapping the distances will also turn the feature off. If our courseview mapping information for the hole and the location you are at on a hole is even, there will be a square next to each distance value. Otherwise an up or down arrow will display if there is uphill or downhill slope present. 

    If a course has renovated or switched hole order recently...that would be the only other reason it may display incorrect...of which, a course report would need to be submitted through our site here: https://www.garmin.com/forms/golfcourses/
