AutoShot doesn’t work until I restart the device

I’ve had this happen a couple of times already in the last month.
1. I start a round (scoring and AutoShot are always on for me)
2. When I swing, the watch does not recognize any swings with any clubs
3. I have to restart my watch, and then AutoShot works again. However, doesn’t remember my bag and all available clubs are now on the list
4. I have to start a new round and then the bag is ok again

Is this something because of the latest software update?

I have a similar problem. My S50 only detects some shots after last update.

Hey, seems a common issue when you look into the "Approach S50 System Update" discussion, many users are reporting this issue. It started for all with the recent update. I have raised a ticket for it with the Garmin support but it does not sounds there is a fix yet.

Hey, it seems like a common issue which many users are experiencing, you can see the other discussion in "Approach S50 System Update". I have raised a ticket with Garmin support and I don't think there is a solution yet. I might be helpful if more people are raising tickets as I don't think Garmin has acknowledged it as a general issue yet

Thanks! I guess I didn't really search for the right thing. I guess not much to do but wait for the fix

The workaround for this is to restart the watch before you go golfing, and then autoshot works for that round. If you forget it and start, then just restart the S50 and resume the round, and then this works. Garmin is working on this problem.

FWIW, I have the exact same problem with the S50. It does not register shots unless I reset the device. I now do this before every round (which is very very annoying)
