Shot tracking stopps working

In version 6.16 shot tracking stopped working and the only way to make it work through a round of golf was to restart the watch just before going playing.

Got version 6.17 yesterday and did not restart the watch before todays round, and it worked for 12 holes but then stopped working. This feature was fine until about 3 weeks ago so fix this please.

I have a brand new S50 (replaced a S42 which my son wears). The shot distance of last shot is not displaying on the watch consistently. Very frustrating, and not an issue on the old watch my son is wearing. Worst thing is I don’t know it won’t display til I start playing (fickle, works when I restart the watch sometimes).

I have the same issue on my S50 even after updating to SW Version 6.17

Edit: Still the same with Version 6.18 (despite release notes state that this should fix it)

Thank you for the report, please record another round now that the update has been installed and please let me know if you continue to have the issue going forward.

Hello Garmin-Cody
I can confirm that, during today's round, my S50 prompted club selection after every shot (aside some chip shots which is totally fine).
For some reason the club list is not synced with the one in the app (Synching gives me an '1 file failed' error - this must be the clubs list). I can live with that and will continue syncing, hoping the club list will eventually be up to date again.

Installed 6.18 and players two rounds. Did not reboot between rounds. Autodetect worked for both rounds.
