Enhanced course view maps not loading

I can’t get enhanced course view to work on S50 despite having a Garmin golf membership. Membership shows up in my profile on the phone, have tried Express to update the watch and still no updated images. Any advice?

    Downloaded the software after reset of watch and apps. No joy.

  • are you sure this has been fixed?
    the premium map never loaded for my 30 day trial.
    I paid for a month subscription and played around round two days ago and the map never loaded. again. 
    please fix this issue.

  • I have just bought my s50 and got the Garmin golf subscription with the same issue, so it still hasn’t been fixed I am going to have to call Garmin 

  • I've already called and the only reply they will give are generic "solutions" you can try that are already available online if you search. Those "solutions" will not work. They will eventually ask you to send in logs from the Garmin Golf App, Garmin Folder from Garmin Express, and recorded videos of you starting a round from the watch visually showing what's going on. 

    Then, they will tell you to wait for them to figure out what the problem is.

    I've already been emailing Garmin support and am still waiting for a reply back.

    It's been almost a week and still no solution.

  • Yeah that’s no good mate, I reset my watch and got it to update and now I start a round and it actually says downloading advanced map with the green tick on the bottom but it stays like that then eventually start with the normal stock map i will keep trying 

  • Yeah okay I updated the watch and it just get stuck on the loading screen then eventually starts the round with the stock map I will keep trying

  • Garmin sent me a replacement S50 a week ago. Spent an age updating to new software version. Went to course it went thru all Premium download screens then ended on std maps. 

    Got home plugged it in to the Pc to update thru the Express software and installed new maps. Back to the course same thing and std maps.

    Sent email to support who asked if my course has premium maps, which it does. Tried again today before a few holes didn't even tell me there were premium maps and dropped me on the std ones.

    Have done a reset tonight and will try again tomorrow. Now 2mths and no joy. It ain't killing me as I still have distances it's just annoying to be paying for a feature they can't get to work. 

  • Yeah man, stuck in the same boat as you.

    Nothing works. No real answer as of now from Garmin support.

    Updating everything on Garmin Express doesn't help.

    Still waiting on a reply, after sending in logs, folders, and proof of it not working.

  • So they sent you a new replacement to your old watch and it STILL doesn't work?

    Wow, what a shame!

    Must be a software issue.

    Hopefully they refund you for your monthly/annual plan and or give you credit. Don't forget the 30 day trial as well!
