Approach S50 Still Shows Deleted Round

I deleted my last round on the app and on the web version but the score still shows up on my watch. How do I clear/delete this?

  • The watch is simply displaying the "last round" that was recorded, as the scorecard was saved to sync to the Garmin Golf app.

The last round sections of the watch (watch face data field, widget glance for last round) are reference only and is not the actual scorecard information.

The scorecard you deleted from your account is the where all of the actual shot data, performance stat, Garmin golf handicap and other information from the round is stored. Removing the card from the Garmin Golf app results in the round info no longer being relevant to the features in your account, nor the watch.

  • Thank you but I understand that the info from the round is not available on the watch. I also understand where all the round statistics are stored. Unfortunately, deleting that round from the Garmin Golf app may no longer be relevant to the account but it does indeed show up and apparently is relevant to the watch. If I shoot a horrible round and want to forget that score by deleting it from the app and my account, the score is still staring me in the face.

  • Yes, due to the last round feature not being tied to your account...it is a temporary file that stores with simplified score and round info from your last round of golf. Removing the scorecard from your account does not remove the info from the last round widget on the watch.

To change the information display for last round, you would need to record a new round and save the score to update the last round info.

If you have last round as a data field on the watch face, you can remove the data field or change the watch face if you are not planning on recording an other round soon, and if you are not wanting to view the last round info in the meantime.
