I also have an S44 without working shot detection...what gives?

When it first happened last weekend, I thought it was just me...but it didn't work once this weekend. What is Garmin saying the fix is?

I talked to Garmin support today 7/12/2025, they know they have an issue with the shot tracking. I asked them to send me a new one, and I was told "it would be a waste of time as the new one will have the same issue". I asked why they are continuing to sell the watch, when it has known issues, he wouldn't answer the question. I was told to either get a refund from the location I purchased the watch or wait for a software update, with know known release date.
