Golf Average Yardages - Query

How does the Garmin watch and CT1 club trackers work in and around the green. I regularly use my 7 Iron for bump and runs around the green however I don't want a 20 yard bump and run ruining the averages for my 7 iron on a full swing. If I hit my 7 iron 150 yards for example but it also takes into account a 20 yard bump and run my averages will be incorrect.

Thanks for your help.

  • The CT-1 sensors simply allow for the sensor attached at the end of the club to be tapped on the watch display to mark the club you are getting ready to use prior to taking your next shot.

If you are taking an partial or outlier shot that you do not want distance assigned to that club, simply do not tap the sensor to the screen prior to taking the shot.

The shot will then just record the distance for reference on the scorecard...but will not apply towards any club performance or stat info on max or average distance information.
