S40 with CT10s

S40 with CT10s will be working fine during a round but then gets stuck on one paired club and then will not unpair from that club even when that club is placed in the bag and a different club is taken out of the bag for a new shot. After the round I can see that all the swings were recorded but club identification is missing for the holes played after the problem starts.

  • I saw the same thing for 3 consecutive rounds.  Mid round it would get stuck on a club on the watch display.  After the round looking back, there would be no club identification once it had gotten stuck.  I did a Reset Default Settings on the watch, repaired all the clubs, and the one round I've played since it didn't happen.

  • I recommend opening your club sensor list directly on the watch through the Golf Settings menu > Then with all of your clubs in the bag, pull out one club at a time to determine each club is showing connected to the correct corresponding sensor in the list. If a club is unassigned in the list, I recommend removing the unassigned club and then re-pair the sensor assigning the club to the correct type from your "My Bag" list in the Garmin Golf app.

You can also remove the Club Sensor you are having a pairing issue with and then re-assign the sensor to see if that helps. Garmin Support can be contacted if you continue to have concerns to go over the issue, and to determine further solutions with you.
