How can I get my golf score from my S42 Approach to the app on my phone?

I don't know how scores transfer from my S42 Approach watch to my phone app. Right now, sometimes scores transfer, and sometimes they do not. I'm probably overlooking some setting on the watch, but I cannot figure out what it is.

    Ensure scoring is enabled in the Golf Settings directly on the watch. Then once the round is started on the S42, the score entered at the end of every hole before teeing off on the next hole, and then the round is ended and saved after finishing on the 18th hole.

    You can then open the Garmin Golf app on your smartphone > Tap the Profile tab at the bottom of the opening screen > Select "My Devices" from the menu >  Then confirm your Approach S42 is showing connected > Tap the circular arrows icon next to the name of the watch to make them spin and your watch will then sync over the scorecard to the Garmin Golf app.
