Pin location based on actual GPS reading rather than visual placement S42

I'd like to see added such functionality too

We appreciate the feedback regarding the pin placement feature in green view. 

Due to the pin placement for each hole changing on a daily basis for most courses, we offer the user the option to change move the pin manually based on visually seeing where the pin from approach or chip shots, or based on the hole locations offered by the course for the day. 

GPS is perfectly suitable for front, middle and back distances...but not for hole location due to the size of the hole, and accuracy of consumer grade GPS receivers. 

For the best accuracy, a laser rangefinder like our Approach Z82 is best for getting the exact distance to the flag with the combination of laser and GPS for the best accuracy on the market.

However I do still believe that we could have a gps dot marking our location on the green, then it is up to the user to decide whether it is precise or not.

To make a better manual placements then I would at least like to have the green shape closer to reality, the round oval is more often than not completely wrong.

Perfect enhancement idea.

I have asked for this for over a year. Great idea. Esp in fall, winter course move the pin weekly or less.
