CT10 sensor not assigning to a club anymore and it is new

Ct10 not working for my 5 wood. Only had 3 weeks and was working until a few days ago. Tried to reassign and won’t work. Is it the battery and if so would it be covered, it shouldn’t fail after 2 weeks or is something. Wrong with the actual sensor? Same thing happened for the hybrid the first week, but it did work when reassigned. Should any of this be happening with a new set?

Garmin does not recommend performing the steps above, and doing so may risk permanent damage to the sensors, and will any warranty coverage on the sensors.

A couple of mine didn't last long with the original batteries, A 5 pack of the CR2032 batteries is about $5 and is good to have around. If that doesn't solve the problem then I would contact Garmin. Good…

Now my 3 wood sensor is not working so 2 out of 14, again presume this is the battery, garmin is sending replacement batteries..BUT. I tried and my husband tried, we can’t open the sensor to get the battery out, it like it is one unit vs 2 parts, tired with golf glove as recommended, won’t budge, seriously thinking with returning.

I bought the starter set of 3 CT10's and within 3 months 2 of them started acting up. I replaced batteries in all and they worked great after that.

I had a similar problem.

I tried to replace the battery, restart my watch. Tried to reassign my sensor or remove it and add it as new.

None of them worked. Then I tried one more try which was.

1. Turn off my smart phone's Bluetooth (I don't want to my watch to connect to my cell phone during pairing of the sensor)

2. remove the battery from the sensor. Leave it for about 10min.

3. Turn off Garmin watch

4. Turn on the watch.

5. Goes into Settings->Club Tracking->Club Sensors->Add New(or could be reassign)

6. Put the battery back into the Sensor. Turn plastic side(Black) up (and should be well lit indoor or outdoor)

7. Wait for a few seconds. Now it successfully paired the sensor.

Yes, but how did you remove the black cap. It is very difficult. Myself & husband tried. Did you use any tools that helped? Will I break it if I try to pry it off?

need to use plier(two of them) to twist open.

use vise plier. adjust how tight you want to grab parts.

it might scar plastic parts but it wont break.

(if you adjust plier to just enough grip to hold parts)

I used a couple kitchen rubber jar openers to grip the black top and unscrew it. Sometime it takes more effort than other times but you have to screw it back on real tight. I've had the top come off in my bag (luckily) and had to empty my bag and dump it out to get the cap and battery.

I use multigrip pliers, by closing them half around the CT10 and half around the grip but. It begs belief that a anyone would think these caps are otherwise easily unscrewed.

Garmin, for $2.90 will sell you a tool for unlocking the black cover. It works well. Note: Keep the tool handy and in a secure place. Otherwise, miserty trying to take the black cover off. My issue now is getting the battery out of the black cover. Yikes!

I am having similar issues where several of my sensors seem dead just after a couple of weeks purchase (brand new). :(
