S12 measure shot function.
I am sat in my back garden. I select measure shot and stay still. The screen increases to 14 yards without any movement at all.
Any thoughts please?
GPS location can drift if you are standing still in one spot and not moving from a static location. GPS updates location best when your location is changing through movement.
Standing in a singular location without movement is best when starting a round of golf and when allowing the watch to locate satellites...but once satellites are acquired for your location, maintaining the connection with accurate distance measurement is best when there is movement going forward.
