You can preview courses nearby your location by taking the watch outside with the sky above you, and then you can select the prompt from the menu to start a golf round > The watch will then locate satellites and then will display the nearest courses to your current location > You can then select a course to preview distances from the start of each hole and the preset hazard distances from the tee box.
The watch is designed to provide distances from updated to your GPS location on the actual hole at a golf course, so that is where distances will update in real time vs the pre-set distances from the tee boxes when previewing away from the actual course.
