I have been gifted an S12 and I have an S20. When I’m finished my round and sync to my phone the old S20 shows a map of all the holes and my shots on each one. Does this new S12 not do this?

The Approach S12 features a simpler design, and does not have the AutoShot feature available on the watch like the Approach S20 has.
In order for shots to be detected using the Approach S12, the Approach CT-10 Club Tracking sensors must be paired to the watch, since the watch does not have an accelerometer sensor.
The Approach S20 has an accelerometer sensor which allows for shot detection, step tracking, and basic sleep tracking.
Below is a link to the Garmin site showing a side-by-side comparison of the Approach S12 and the Approach S20 for reference, if needed:
How about the approach S42. Would that have the feature I’m looking for?
The AutoShot feature is available on the Approach S42
