Approach S12 not connecting

I bought a approach second hand been struggling about 5 days 

the code to connect doesn’t even pop up I have an iPhone 13 and I don’t see any issues online about it but I can use the wat h at all cause there is no connecting at all

    1. Check for Activation Lock
    If the watch was not unpaired from the previous owner's account, Activation Lock might be enabled. You cannot use the watch until the previous owner removes it from their iCloud account.

    Press the side button on the Apple Watch. If it asks for the previous owner's Apple ID and password, Activation Lock is still active.
    Contact the seller to have them unpair the watch and remove it from their iCloud account remotely via Settings > [Their Name] > Devices > Apple Watch on their iPhone.
    2. Reset the Apple Watch
    If Activation Lock isn't the issue:

    Place the watch on the charger.
    Hold the side button until the power-off screen appears.
    Press and hold the Digital Crown until you see "Erase All Content and Settings."
    Tap Reset, and confirm the reset.
    3. Ensure iPhone and Apple Watch Compatibility
    Your iPhone 13 should be compatible with all recent Apple Watches. Ensure:
    iPhone 13 is updated to the latest iOS version via Settings > General > Software Update.
    The watch is charged (preferably over 50%).

    Place the watch near your iPhone.
    If the pairing animation doesn’t appear:
    Tap Pair Manually in the app.
