Why does "standby mode" exist?! And why can't I disable it?!

Standby mode is triggered when there is a ball in the hitting area for several minutes and, once triggered, it grays out the screen and makes me click through.  Why does "standby mode" exist?  What is the point of a warning that only appears when there is a ball in front of the monitor?  It's only when there is a ball in the hitting zone.  I guess I could understand something like a screensaver to preserve the life of a projector, but that's not what this is.  It doesn't turn the projector off.  Standby mode only grays out the screen and makes me hit "ok."  WHY???  I'm constantly looking at my swing or videos while hitting so standby mode is constantly triggered.  Please let me turn this off; it serves no function.  Useless hassle.

  • Hello   There were some fixed regarding standby mode included with SW version 5.00. If you have not already, we would recommend updating this.
