Low wedge spin numbers

I can't seem to get any wedge below pitching wedge to read the proper spin number. Or it just starts reading under 4000 for all of the wedges. I have tried to raise a unit, put a line in my ball, move it back in the hitting zone. I'm not sure what else I should do. It reads every other Club fine, and even reads all the other numbers right when I hit a wedge minus the spin number. I have updated it and everything as well so I don't really know what the issue is.

    Could be your golf ball is worn down, or the mat. I only get good spin numbers if I spray water on my mat in the hitting area, otherwise the number is generally about 20% lower than normal IMO. Good luck. 

    I find the unit overreads left right spin on short shots compared to actual ball flight and have confirmed this visually in outdoor testing.

    On the Approach R50, spin readings that are consistently low on wedges (under 4,000 RPM) can sometimes be related to how the ball is being captured by the cameras, even when other metrics appear normal.

    Since you've already updated the unit, adjusted the R50's height, used a marked ball, and experimented with ball position in the hitting zone, I'd recommend checking the following:

    • Ensure the camera lenses are clean and free of dust or smudges.
    • Verify the hitting area is well-lit and free from shadows across the ball.
    • Test with a premium urethane-covered golf ball, as lower-compression range balls can produce lower spin and may be more difficult to measure accurately.
    • Confirm the grooves on the wedges are clean and in good condition.
    • Compare readings across multiple wedges (GW, SW, LW) to determine if the issue is isolated to a specific club or present across all higher-lofted clubs.

    If the issue persists, please provide:

    • The software version currently installed on the R50.
    • Whether you're hitting indoors or outdoors.
    • Screenshots or photos of several wedge shots showing the spin readings.
    • A photo of your R50 setup from the hitting area.

    With that information, we can investigate further and determine whether there is a setup-related cause or if additional troubleshooting is needed.

    Tried all the trouble shooting. I get the right spin numbers down to even pitching wedge then as soon as soon as I bring out my GW,SW,LW it starts getting the spin ratings seen in the picture below. I have also included a picture of my set up below.
